Le Touessrok

One & Only Le Touessrok is a Mediterranean style village, with a spectacular wooden bridge linking to Frangipani Island. A short boat-ride away is the extraordinary Ile aux Cerfs Golf Course, 7000 yard, 18-hole championship course designed by Bernhard Langer. Ilot Mangenie, the resort’s retreat island, is just five minutes away by private boat.

This hotel is a superb de luxe beach and golfing resort with a wonderful array of little islands just off the coast, which are an integral part of the resort. It is a fantastic place to stay if you like any form of water sports, as the waterways are wonderful and full of sailing boats and pleasure cruisers as well as water skiers.

On the mainland, the Hibiscus Wing consists of 37 Deluxe rooms, 32 new Junior Suites and the refurbished Royal Suite. The Coral Wing has 31 Deluxe rooms and a Junior Suite. On the private Frangipani Island, there are 98 newly-built suites, all sea-facing.

The Deluxe Rooms have the latest in-room technology, contemporary furnishings, and expansive views of the Indian Ocean. They represent the more affordable level of luxury.

The Junior suites are cool and contemporary with design features inspired by the tropics. Ocean views and large bay windows bring a changing light to the rooms as the day progresses.

The Ocean Suites have a cool and contemporary feel. They are spacious and light and offer great luxury and privacy in the enchanting surroundings of the Frangipani Wing.

The Royal Suite is for the discerning few who want a level of service and luxury that was once only the province of royalty. With its classic colonial style of decor and furnishings, it is equally suited for entertaining in royal style or for a romantic dinner.

The villas offer supreme three-bedroom luxury, totally discreet with private swimming pools, gardens and separate entrances, designed and finished in cool, contemporary interpretations of Mauritian style.

Guests dining at Le Touessrok have an unprecedented choice of cuisines and locations. "Guests staying at a Hotel like this are used to superb cuisine in many different countries and environments" says Corporate Chef Patrick John, "they want excellent, fresh ingredients, simple preparation, and an incredible range of styles and flavors. We've brought the Hotel right up to date with the range of food we're featuring."

Two restaurants are set on the mainland overlooking the pool and beach, but guests can also cross the connecting bridge to dine on Frangipani Island, or take a free taxi boat to the Ile aux Cerfs or Ilot Mangénie for lunch at one of the beachside restaurants. For those guests who can't face moving from their sun bed on the beach, they need not lift a finger, they can simply choose from drinks, snacks and tropical fruit - available all day until sunset - or select from a light a la carte menu on the beach (this service is available both on the main beach and on Frangipani Island). Everything from delicious sandwiches of smoked fish, salads or children's meals of fish and chips or burgers are served.

Sports enthusiasts will find themselves in paradise at Le Touessrok. Stunningly landscaped private grounds enfold the Hotel - offering tennis courts, golf, bowls and the Matt Roberts Gym - while the sea is an integral part of its design, with its four beaches and two separate islands, a huge variety of watersports and ample opportunities for rest and refreshment!

All guests have access to free watersports and basic tuition from the Hotel's fully-trained team of instructors. The perfect way to try waterskiing, windsurfing and sailing safely for the first time, or simply to brush up your skills by using high-quality boats, boards and skis for no extra charge. The watersports facility on Ile aux Cerfs, accessed by a free boat shuttle from the main Hotel (10 minute ride), provides plenty of activities for water enthusiasts. Many of these sports are free of charge to Hotel guests

The famous Ile aux Cerfs, (translated as Deer Island) is the location for the most spectacular course in Mauritius, which is the world renowned Le Touessrok Golf Club, 18 holes, which weave their way through pines and wild vegetation, with some amazing views of the open Ocean on the back nine. Green fees are included here on a daily basis, which is why Le Touessrok is such good value for avid golfers and it is the type of course you will never be bored with. The shuttle boat takes 15 minutes to transfer you to this exclusive Island, where you are then shuttled by a stretch limo buggy, this is real Millionaire’s Golf, as the course tends to be so quiet, especially after lunch.

The Givenchy Spa, one of a select few around the world, reflects Givenchy's famously elegant and understated style. The experience is unique - an exclusive opportunity to unwind and discover physical and mental harmony.

Tucked away to one side of the Hotel, in a log-built hideaway surrounded by trees, is KidsOnly. With its Robin Hood theme and exciting " secret " location, the club is the perfect way for kids staying at the Hotel to really get the most out of their holiday. While parents relax on the beach or by the pool, happy in the knowledge that their children are busy and happy and safe, the young members enjoy all sorts of privileges. The club itself has play areas, a tree house and walkway, its own pool, arts and crafts facilities and computer stations (perfect for quiet times out of the sun.) Even its own restaurant for afternoon tea, for which the kids can bake cookies and other meals.
