Round Hill - Jamaica

Luxurious gardens surround a calm, private cove with golden sand beaches, restaurants have award winning dining and an 18th century great house at the edge of the sea is filled by a world class spa. The 27 villas are individually owned and personally decorated to give each villa its own distinct style.

Villas can be completely booked with their own private pool and dedicated staff, or individual villa suites can be booked ranging from Deluxe Suites to expansive Pineapple Suites.

The Pineapple House: 36 luxurious ocean-front rooms with fantastic sunset views. Renovated and designed by Ralph Lauren, all rooms have white stone floors, romantic four poster mahogany bamboo beds and sumptuous upholstered furniture. The colour accents are white with splashes of pink and blue. The bathrooms have been enlarged and feature deep tubs, freestanding rain showers and his and hers sinks. Upstairs rooms have large windows which fold back and downstairs rooms have patios or balconies.

Round Hillís Award winning chef Martin Ian Maginley uses Jamaicaís freshest and finest produce and prepares it to create sumptuous healthy food. Breakfasts are cooked to order and served in bed or overlooking the sea, lunches are casual with beach barbeque options most days.

Dinner is served in the Georgian Dining Room overlooking the sea or on the seaside terrace overlooking Round Hill Bay; international cuisine is highlighted by many Jamaican specialties.

Entertainment varies nightly from a bonfire night beach picnic to romantic dancing under the stars.

Golf can be arranged at the famous Tyrell Championship course just a couple of miles away. There are 5 all weather tennis courts and the resident pro is always happy to arrange tournaments and offers lessons for children and adults. There is a fitness centre as well as jogging and walking tracks.

There are plenty of opportunities for water sports. The resort arranges snorkelling tours and tubing, water skiing, windsurfers and sea kayaks are also available.

Pineapple Kidsí Club: The programme promotes fun and education; activities include nature walks, arts and crafts and water sports among others.
